What is the difference
between analog and digital copiers? |
The major difference between analog and digital copiers can
be summed up in a few lines. Analog copiers scan once and
print once. Digital copiers scan once and print many times.
This means that digital copiers will break less often. Some
digital copiers also offer computer interfaces and networking
capabilities.

My office machine does not turn on,
what's wrong? |
Although this may seem obvious, be sure to check that the
machine is plugged in and that the outlet actually delivers
some power. Another common cause is that some doors on the
machine may be open. This prevents the machine from turning
on.

I keep getting a paper jam, what
should I do? |
First, check if your machine has a diagnostic mode. You can
tell the machine is diagnostic mode if the display on the
machine indicates where the paper is stuck. Find the location
indicated by the display and remove any paper. If the display
does not indicate where the paper is stuck, you'll have to
find the jam. Open the front door on the machine and check
for any paper stuck in the rollers. Open the side door and
check for paper. Finally, check the paper tray for jammed
paper.
Tip: Always remove paper in the
same direction it was traveling.
